  1. Thanks for your coverage on the 12th region sir, I have a son that plays and look forward to your reviews and rankings every Monday. Great work all season , appreciate it.
  2. I have to agree, West is starting to click over these past few weeks, they have cut their turnovers way down and they are starting to share the ball really well. They have a solid big guy surrounded by shooters and are starting to go inside out, point guard Drew Marshall broke the school single game assist record with 16 assist against Dunbar Saturday. If they can stay healthy they are definitely one of the teams that can win the region , gonna be a fun tournament.
  3. I think this is gonna be a good game, I haven’t got to watch Lincoln play yet this year but they are always tough, especially at home. West had some struggles with turnovers in the first 3 games but have started to play well together in the last 2 games with all 5 starters averaging double figures. West will have to speed the game up and get out on their shooters to get the win I think, should be a great game. I’ll go West Jess 63-60
  4. This was a lot closer game than the score ended up being. Great Crossing was up 33-31 at half and led by 3 or 4 to start 4th quarter. They have a long athletic team and play great defense, West Jessamine put up a fight but ran out of gas in the 4th from the defensive pressure put on by the Warhawks all game.
  5. I think the Great Crossing at West Jess game will be one of the better ones as well, West Jess has enough talent to compete with them and it’s at West so I think it’ll be a competitive game.
  6. I agree, they do play a few teams in the 11th every season along with the tough holiday tourney they are usually in each year, that does strengthen them heading into post season. The past 2 seasons they have been short handed for most the season and all of the post season with their big man Gavin Salva being injured , but he’s expected to be close to full strength by start of season, then they have Daniel Waters and Brett Bush who can both light it up, then Drew Marshall who can get to the rim whenever he wants and rebounds really good for a guard, and Jacob Jones might play which his athleticism alone could be the difference maker in a lot of games for West. I think they have the potential and coaching staff to make a run this year , but it’s always tough in the 12th.
  7. Yes sir it sure would, that was a bad break for them that year, and all the other teams that made it. I think they have the pieces to do it , but it’ll be tough as always in the 12th region, especially with Lincoln returning 4 starters from last year.
  8. Thank you sir! Looking forward to the content.
  9. I think West Jessamine will be really solid this season. They have a lot of seniors on this team , and can score at every position, should be a fun season in the 12th region.
