Cardinals Look To Cut The BS, Take Down Resurgent Defenders

Table Setter: A strenuous early season slate appears to be paying dividends for the Defenders. They've handily dispatched three consecutive Lexington rivals following an 0-3 start against Douglass, Boyle County, and Scott County, who boast a combined record of 18-1. Highly regarded prospect JT Haskins Jr. broke out at receiver two weeks ago against Lafayette and provided some special teams electricity in last week's win over Henry Clay. 

GRC had worked its way into the 6A "At-Large" picture before that train was derailed by Campbell County two weeks ago. The Cardinals quickly put it behind them and rebounded last Friday to rout Lafayette, dropping 42 in the opening frame. 

Bryan Station blew GRC's doors off in last year's postseason after barely surviving an encounter with the Cardinals a month earlier.

Don’t think it will be that close.  Bryan Station is the better team.

I agree, interesting game. This is a big test for GRC. How good are they?

Get a win and they can prove that loss to Campbell County was a one off bad night.

If they lose this one, everyone starts to think the one off was the nice win over Cooper.
