That 3 points at the end of the half for the Jets is on Burrow and Mixon because they could not complete a short pass. That left the Jets with their timeouts. I know Zac Taylor likes to be aggressive, but passing the ball at their own 10 with less than a minute to go was a little too aggressive for my liking. He should have run out the clock there as much as possible, or at least make the Jets use their timeouts.

The Jets had all three timeouts left. They would have had time on the clock when they got the ball but no timeouts. I agree that it was a bad decision by the coach - see post above.

That was stupid even if they would have made it. Now since they didn't make it, you give the Jets something positive to build on. If you kick the field goal, that is a positive for the Bengals and a negative for the Jets.

Not to mention they used their second timeout of the half setting up the miserable 4th down play.
