Fun game to watch. VT is a team I wouldn't want to face in the first round of the Dance. I thought Paulas was starting to be the guard Duke thought he would be. But today was a major set back. His confidence is probably at an all time low. He played terrible. See how he rebounds the next few games.

If you would have told me five years ago that the Virginia Tech/Duke series would grow to be one of the best in the nation, I would have laughed in your face. But these two have played three of the best games in college basketball over the past three seasons.

McRoberts had 16 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks & 4 assists in 44 minutes for Duke.

Nelson had 22 points, 5 rebounds & 2 assists in 39 minutes

Paulus 0 points in 18 minutes

 

Dowdell had 20 points, 3 rebounds & 2 assists in 41 minutes for Va Tech

Gordon had 17 points, 6 rebounds & 2 assists in 40 minutes for Va Tech

 

Va Tech had 6 turnovers

Duke had 22 turnovers
