I agree, the KHSAA/Commish should have stayed out of it.

KHSAA bylaws carry the weight of law in our state. It sounds like the Commissioner did the only thing he could do.

In the release from the KHSAA is says: "social media discussions around a potential disaster recovery fundraising effort scheduled for an FCPS high school".....so the word "potential" and "scheduled' are both in the sentence. That makes it sound like the fundraiser A) was only potentially happening, and B) was definitely scheduled and happening. Those two things don't jive in the same sentence. Grammar grammar grammar, KHSAA.

Also, whomever it was that penned this needs find a local judge around Lexington and ask for a few basic lessons on how to write an opinion on a ruling without coming off sounding like Martin Shkreli the Pharma Bro.
