5. Owensboro Catholic at 6A Apollo

6. Middlesboro at 1A #3 Hazard

7. Green County -- OPEN

8. Danville at 4A Lincoln County

9. Metcalfe County at 6A Barren County

10. West Carter at 4A Rowan County

Love seeing some different names in the Top 10 starting the year.

Green County, Metcalfe County, West Carter, and Middlesboro were all kind of after thoughts when the last realignment constructed 2A as we know it now.

It is really cool to see all these programs having a resurgence and/or a bumper crop of talent that puts them in the discussion.

2A District 3 was kind of the "One of these is not like the other" Districts for the first few years.. especially in contrast to District 1 & District 4. I am legitimately excited to follow that District now to see how mch noise they can make in 2022.

Looks pretty fair to me. 2A isn't as lopsided as it was last year. Still say the state title will be one of the Top 3 Teams. Good to see some of these other teams getting a little love. Friday Night lights is here and I'm ready to watch some football.

Beechwood and LCA are still top tier. Mayfield leads the sexond tier of teams. 

This list looks pretty darn accurate in my estimation.

I think there is going to be a lot of movement in the 4-10 slots in these rankings this season.

Lloyd might be a top 10 going toe to toe with 6A Dixie. I would put Walton Verona in the top 10 also.
