January 6, 200719 yr The slower he heals the better I believe it will be for the Ville'. If not 100% he would not be able to prove his recovery and stock at the combine, so practically if he was thinking draft, but not healthy enough to give a good effort at the combine, then he may be back at Louisville thanks to default. People can draw McGahee comparisons, but IMO the situations were much different. McGahee blew his out in the championship game and proved himself all season long. Bush broke his leg the first game of the season basically allowing people to forget about him. My point being McGahee's performance was still on everyones mind, the only question was his health. Bush's performance however is not on peoples mind anymore, the want to see more of him, and his health is still a question. If he's smart he comes back to school. If he and Brohm both come back, then Louisville has a high chance to compete for the title.
January 6, 200719 yr He is kind of hefty, but then again he can run, and is strong, oh yeah the guys in the NFL are hefty too. Whats the point of looking like Tarzan and playing like Jane!!!!!!!!!!!
January 6, 200719 yr I have no idea if he has changed his stance recently but I do know that Bush's dad made it clear at a U of L game late in the year that Michael was going to go pro.
January 6, 200719 yr Wouldn't you think his decision has a lot to do with choices that Petrino and Brohm make in the next week or so?

His dad said it is now 60/40 for him to go pro...I think after he hears back from the advisory board that it will flip...I think Michael will be in a U of L uniform again

January 6, 200719 yr I think it would be a bad idea to go now but what do I know, anyone else think he looked a little fat during the Orange bowl?
January 6, 200719 yr If he gets healthy, he'll be the next Jerome Bettis, thick but can run through ya or make ya miss
