The Tigers (30-10) and Colonels (29-7) are set for Friday, June 3rd at 1:30pm at Kentucky Proud Park in Lexington. St. X thwarted Trinity to reach another in a long line of state tournament appearances. Christian County dropped four straight late in the regular season before righting the ship in time for the postseason. The Colonels are unranked, while the Tigers check in at #3 in the PBR Top 25 and may be the tournament favorite.

If I looked at schedules correctly I think the common opponents between the two teams are Bowling Green and McCracken Co. St. X beat both teams while Christian Co. struggled against both. If St. X continues their focused play like they did in the regional tournament they should take care of business. Go Tigers!

Always feels like St. Xavier is the favorite to win the state championship until they get beat. Christian County is probably capable, but I think St. X win this one.
