LAST year means nothing really, it’s what you’re doing now, especially at the stage of his career, 6th or 7th seems more appropriate

Please do not take any of these comments as a defense of this Reds front office. However, I believe the Reds are 8-5 in their last 13 games and 9 of those were on the road. Not bad. 

Also, I made a comment after the first month that I believe the Reds have a good chance to play .500 ball the rest of the season. I still believe that. Injuries and a brutal schedule the first month were more of the reason for the terrible start than the inescusable front office moves.

Reds now 12-8 in their last 20 games. They are a win away from escaping from the MLB basement. Only 3.5 games behind the Cubs and third place in the division.

Feel free to mock that but if they continue at that pace the rest of the year they finish the season with a winning record.

Just good natured fun VOR, don’t get upset, thought the John McEnroe reference was pretty good???  If they can keep bringing up players like Ashcraft they’ve got a decent shot to play .500 rest of the way, if they can quit slapping people on the field over FANTASY FOOTBALL, goodness gracious!!
