Will the young Jags wilt under pressure? I don't think so, they're finally healthy, have gelled over the last month, and by some metrics have played the state's toughest schedule this year. A younger version of this squad beat champion SHA last year during the regular season on a neutral court.

Last year’s Sacred Heart team didn’t have Zikayah Johnson on the roster. And they still won the state title. Johnson is a phenom and huge addition. 
 

Cooper has played two excellent games so far but Sacred Heart is a tall order.

My heart is with the Lady Jags in this one.

I believe both posts above are correct.  I don't think Cooper will wilt, and they are a very talented team that is just coming together to play their best ball.  That said, Zikayah Johnson is no question a difference maker.  I think SHA is just a notch above.  SHA also has a defender that guards the point, and she makes it very tough on every opposing offense to get into rhythm.  This matchup vs. Friehoffer should be worth watching.

Last year's Sweet 16 MVP Josie Gilvin, a WKU hoops commit, is also a 3 sport star. The Valkyrie senior finished 3rd in last year's State 3A Cross Country Meet. The previous spring at the 3A State Track & Field Meet,  she repped SHA in 3 different events, making the finals in all of them.

SHA junior Triniti Ralston is also fleet of feet. She placed 1st, 2nd, 2nd, and 3rd in her events at the 2021 Region 4 Meet.
