I can't believe the score, last I heard it was a close game in the 3rd quarter, and this is the outcome?

The game was close in the first half walton losing at half by 4. It was a very competetive game the in the first half. As for the second a completely different team and game. Owen co came out with a full court press and walton couldn't get the ball past half court. If they got the ball inbound, lazy passes and getting trapped in the corner forcing turnovers. It was the most hoorific game I have ever seen. At on time Walton's big 3 of Zwick, Daugherty, and Roberts were on the bench. For some reason we will never know. Walton guard play was terrible to say the least. As for Neely He pretty much beat WV by himself. I dont know how many points he had but he impressed me. I beleive he only had around 7 points at half. Walton better play a better game against Grant or they might lose.

I have come to the conclusion that there are two people on Walton who know how to put the ball in the goal. Daugherty and Roberts the problem with that is they are big guys and the guards for Walton are HORRIFIC. Why Sommers starts is the most amazing thing to me thee worst guard I have seen play ever.

You show a complete lack of class and intelligence by running 16-17 year old kids in the ground:rolleyes: . Remember, these kids are not getting paid to play. You sure know how to take the fun out of it. This is NOT life and death. Please , think before you post. Someone's father/mother/brother/sister/etc... could be reading these forums.

Not to mention the kid might come across it himself. I would hate for the kid to see it.

This is very true , for many teams . Owen -Walton game was a very selfish played game on Walton's part , a lot to do with Roberts & Daugherty not getting the looks they should have . Were my problem is that Walton's coaches just let it happen and didn't do a thing about it ! It's like OK play your way . I will say this as a coach of younger kids if you don't look up the court when you have the ball -- then you can sit by me on the side. How do you keep letting this happen at the varsity level ?:confused:

I agree with the captain. You have to secure the ball and look for your teammates. Lets hope they can turn it around this friday vs Grant Co.

How many pts. did Neeley have? How's he been doing?

I think Neely had 19 pts , Neely is good very good and would love to have him on my team. But I think Hester has a few steps and moves yet on him. I would like to see the two match up sonetime.
