NFC Playoff Outlook

Tiki had 27 carries for 114 with no TD's in game 1...and 23 carries for 90 yards in the latter.

Right, but the Cowboys are sixth in the NFC against run, and that first game had as much to do with Bledsoe as anything, by the time Romo came in, it was too late.

Romo hasn't exactly been great as of late...

Not great stats, but not bad either. All I'm saying is a Giants/Cowboys match up might be fun, and closer than most would imagine.

No, TO hasn't....

I do think the game would be close, most of their battles are.

Heard Dallas can't finish any worse than 5th. Right now my prediction looks solid since the Lions are blowing their chances at Brady Quinn, I mean Brian Brohm. :thumb:

Who does everyone think will win the NFC?

Talk about 6 teams trying to back into the Superbowl... would not suprise me to see any of these teams in the Superbowl or at home by next week (except for the two teams with a bye, of course ;) )

My thoughts exactly. This has been the most unpredictable the NFC has been in a while and thats saying something. There truely is no clear cut favorite and the same teams that can make it to the Super Bowl could also go home with one bad game. I cannot wait to see how this once unfolds, I just hope my Cowboys wake up from their horrid play and try to make a run in a jumbled playoff picture. The Eagles have owned them this season and good news is they will not have to meet them untill the Championship game, if both were to make it there. But like bugatti said, with the way things have went this year in the NFC, who knows?

I would love to brag about how great Chicago is or how great they will do in the playoffs, but facts are facts.

The Bears have not won a home playoff game since 1991 I believe. They had a bye week in 2001, faced Philly and got beat at home. Had the bye week last year, faced Carolina and Steve Smith got over 212 thousand yards receiving in that game.

There was a poll on a chicago sports website asking how nervous fans are and about 40 percent said VERY nervous.

Chicago has a manic-depressive QB, a beat up and injured defense, haven't won a home playoff game in forever. Whatever happens, it's going to be a VERY interesting playoffs this year.
