If you like history and the NFL this gets the highest recommendation. Really interesting look at the early days of the NFL before it became the behemoth it is today.

Picked up a few Dick Francis (former British jockey turned prolific equestrian fiction writer) novels a while back. Found them while doing a bit of a purge and have read four of them in the last week or two (my social life is a bit uncomplicated, especially during bad weather). 

Not bad at all.  3.5 stars out of 5.
