I-Hop is one of the few places in Campbell County that serves Belgian Waffles, which makes me a regular.

Waffle House serves waffles, but nothing on the scale of I-Hop.

I know a google search could answer this for me, but what is the difference? I've always wondered.

A Belgian Waffle is a thicker/crisper waffle, whereas the standard Waffle House waffle is flat, and often soggy.  A Belgian Waffle has much more body to it, with more pronounced/deeper holes.

Play along (kindly). We all end up missing those days eventually.

He is a treasure trove trove of embarrassing, but funny stories.  You should hear my sister tell about his visit to her house with too short shorts on.  I think she threw away  the porch chair he sat in.
