According to the BGP rankings #2 Male vs #14 GRC.....your thoughts.

This is a game where GRC really needs Jones,But im going with a shocker Cards 69-68.Knowles goes for 31.

Those rankings are nice to look at but that's about all they are for. The last poll GRC was #11 and hasn't lost since, maybe the absence of Jones is the reason. I don't know much about Male, what do they have besides Mr. Football?

I'm gonna agree I think cards 55-54 with a buzzer beater by KNOWLES

Male is very strong, athletic and fast. Mr. Football Beaumont can play some basketball as can the QB Gainey, but Heyman and I believe Carnee are also very good. The only weakens of Males is a rather slim bench.... If Clark plays like it did tonight Male will beat them.... Either one of the Male guards are as quick as Knowles, and much stronger than he is. Should be a good game, but I go with Male....

What amazes me about these kids are they are playing hurt, without Jones, playing top caliber teams and still winning.

Don't know if anyone else noticed, but when GRC won tonight Tristian was so thrilled that his teammates won. Great chemistry on this TEAM.:thumb:

Hopefully Knowles' performance in the tourney will get him some consideration for Mr. Basketball. He's carrying the Cards against quality competition.

Knowles will go nuts but Male will win by 10.

I don't think the remainder of the games will be high scoring (5/3 Classic). Maybe with the exception of this one. It all depends on GRC. Will they "sit down and play defense" like they normally do or will they play "highest scorer" which Male usually wants to do? Wish I could be there tonight, but that's just too far for me to drive.

Have you seen this Male team play? They play a much more controlled, defense-oriented style than most of the other Louisville schools.
