Central Hardin hosts this second round playoff game against district rival North Hardin. In the regular season game, Central Hardin completed a key 60 yard pass to Carter Robinson late in the 4th quarter which led to a game winning touchdown. Central Hardin and North both had success running between the tackles in that game. Central Hardin gets their center, A.J. Orton back from injury this week which could be one of the keys to this game. This game will be won in the trenches. Who wins the line of scrimmage and gets a key turnover?

Calprep projects a score of Central Hardin 19 North Hardin 17. I think that these teams will put up more points than this projection. My projected score:

Central Hardin 36

North Hardin 28

In the regular season matchup Central Hardin rushed for 401 yards with 2 RB going over 100 yards on the night, and 86 passing yards.

North Hardin had 180 yards rushing and 121 yards passing.

Multiple holding penalties on Central Hardin negated a TD and big running gains in both the first and second halves of this regular season game.

It is hard to say that either team is peaking based on the competition in the first-round last week. I would like to see Central Hardin run a more balanced offense tomorrow night, but then again you could say that about every game that they play. CH QB Zachary Spurrier has a good arm and threw it 50 yards in the air last week on a 73-yard TD pass to Carter Robinson. Short crossing routes and screen passes against North Hardin's aggressive defense has been proven to be successful.

CH starting QB Spurrier out with an injury.

Sorry to hear about the injury but reads like a good game.
