Tkinslow Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 Great win for the Trojans I didn’t think they had a shot in this game but for the second year in a row they defeat CH by a single point. So what does that mean for this district I thought CH was clearly the best team in it so does Barren actually have a chance in this district. 1
GC-Dragons Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 Wow. Barren with a big big win. This begs the question, how good is Russellville? They dominated Barren.

I think Russellville is a legit threat in Class A. Pikeville is probably better but believe me Russellville has a team. 2
WishboneCity Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 Congrats to Barren County on a huge win. I’m sure we will see some more big upsets this season because of Covid. Many teams will be much more willing to play short-handed instead of taking a forfeit in district play.
Hardin County Preps Posted October 2, 2021 Posted October 2, 2021 Terrible play calling on Central Hardin's part. Central Hardin had one pass attempt until the end of the game when they had to throw. Terry Brooks had a pass completion with 13 seconds left. He took 3-4 steps then bobbled it out of bounds and the referee called it incomplete. Regardless, Central Hardin should have never been in that position. Probably the worst loss for Central Hardin in the last 5 years. This district should still come down to North and Central, but then again you never know.

It was rather vanilla play calling by CH I don’t know if they thought they could just line up and run at will but there was just nothing anywhere near creative by the coaches. It seemed like every play was either a run up the middle or a pitch outside. The offense actually did less than you think because one of their two scores was a pick six.
