Supreme HQ Allied Power, Europe will be in Wayne County's 4th Annual Monticello Bank Classic. They are scheduled to play Muhlenberg North. Has there been basketball teams from other countries play in tournaments in Kentucky? Is this a misprint, or an actual team?

Yes this is a legit team, their coach is a Monticello native.

There have been several teams from Australia to play in Holiday tournaments in the past in Kentucky. There was also North Laurel three or four years ago which was basically a foreign team too.

I guess that was a no pun intended one, eh hoops? lol

 

Are they any good? That seems kind of weird to be a Monticello native, move to Europe, and coach a high school basketball team.

Is it a military base school?

If its the Supreme HQ Allied Power, I would expect some heavy artellery!!!

I'm sure it is composed of dependents of US servicemen assigned to the unit in Belgium.
