Lincoln County’s girls basketball head coach Brandon Fisher has resigned due to health reasons. This was made aware after a Facebook post made from WPBK-FM. Coach Fisher guided the Lady Patriots to a 9-15 season in his first and only season. The search for a new head coach will start immediately.

    That's the first call I would make. Also, Lincoln County has a new athletic director now than when Fisher was hired. Brad Petrey was a long time assistant to boys basketball coach Jeff Jackson before moving into the AD job this summer. Story was an assistant on that same staff before moving to DCA.

    Lincoln County's Facebook page has said that James Jackson, who coached Georgetown College's women's team, will be interim coach for this season.
