Interesting hire. I really thought OU would hire Oral Roberts Head Coach Paul Mills. He could have probably brought Obaner and Abmas with him. Texas Tech that would be a good hire for you.

I'd imagine Moser's name came up at both Indiana and Oklahoma. It would seem to fit with his personality to go to Oklahoma, where basketball isn't the be-all-end-all, but a place where one can succeed at a high level.

This hire doesn't wow me.   He's obviously a good coach, getting Loyola to a final 4 and an elite 8, but just doesn't seem a fit for the Big 12.   We shall see.   Hope I am wrong.   It's always more fun when more teams are in play for conference titles.

Their last two coaches were Jeff Capel and Lon Kruger so I’m not sure they do WOW in basketball in Norman these days. None of these cats are Lincoln Riley, that’s for sure!
