February 17, 20215 yr I am not overly religious, but I love lent because, to me, it is a sign that spring is right around the corner. Is anyone giving anything up or going to start doing something each day for lent? What about fish fries that you recommend?
February 18, 20215 yr I am a very lapsed Catholic, but my old favorite fish fry was always Mary Queen of Heaven in Erlanger.

February 18, 20215 yr My favorite is the Newport Elks fish fry in Cold Spring, KY. They have a good filet with some of the best tartar sauce around.
February 20, 20215 yr We attended the Holy Cross High School fish fry tonight. Very good crowd. They serve "swai" (which tastes much better than cod IMO). Huge piece of fish. Add in 3 sides for $8.50. Great value.

March 23, 20215 yr I hit up the KC in Maysville this past Friday, got 4 fish sandwiches for $12 very good.
March 23, 20215 yr One more Friday to go (3/26) if you want to hit up a local Fish Fry! Most places (not all, but most) do not have their Fish Fry on Good Friday.
