ColonelMike Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 Who: Oldham County vs. Jeffersontown Where: 2021 Ronald McDonald House Classic at Oldham County HS 2/13/21 When: 4th game of the day Broadcast: Free live video coverage begins at 7 pm ET on www.pegasussportsky.com The Oldham County Colonels and the Jeffersontown Chargers battle in the fourth and final game of the day in the 2021 Ronald McDonald House Classic at Oldham County HS. The Colonels - currently ranked #12 in the BGPreps poll - and the Chargers - preseason top 20 - should be well matched. Both are just now getting "into" their seasons after late starts due to COVID.
Tigerpride94 Posted February 7, 2021 Posted February 7, 2021 JTown so far has played bad. OC will beat them handily if don’t improve.
ColonelMike Posted February 11, 2021 Author Posted February 11, 2021 Oldham 5-2 after an impressive 21 point victory over Conner....the Colonels will play Doss tomorrow night. Jtown is 1-3, but they have two road games against St. X on Thursday and Valley on Friday. Chargers will be underdogs against X but favorites against Valley....likely 2-4 heading into the OC game. Will be interesting to see how the Chargers handle 3 games in 3 days. CM
ColonelMike Posted February 11, 2021 Author Posted February 11, 2021 Curious to see the Chargers. They seem to be underperforming a bit.....but they have been off for a long, long time and just got started. Not everyone gets out of the gate fast. There were high expectations for this Jtown squad prior to the season - they were ranked. Oldham seems to be getting their legs under them....really nice road win at Conner. Point guard Grant Gibson is back playing, which is good news for Colonel fans. Deaton Oak, who started the year in a shooting slump, seems to have really gotten it together in the last couple of games as well. Oak led the Colonels in strong wins over Seneca (23 points) and Conner (17). Looking forward to calling this game with my youngest (22 years old, not really so "young") son, Shaun. 7 pm ET - www.pegasussportsky.com
ColonelMike Posted February 12, 2021 Author Posted February 12, 2021 Can anyone talk about Jtown? Haven't seen them yet, and having trouble obtaining info on the Chargers....
ConverseAllStar Posted February 12, 2021 Posted February 12, 2021 Jeffersontown’s lofty preseason expectations assumed Jaylen Fairman and Gage Mabry would be playing. Both players transferred.
ColonelMike Posted February 12, 2021 Author Posted February 12, 2021 Mabry transferred - again? Somehow I never heard that. Where is he now?

ColonelMike Posted February 13, 2021 Author Posted February 13, 2021 Despite COVID and despite the ice, this game is still on as of now! Looking forward to seeing this game....I suspect Jtown has some potential they haven't shown on the court yet. Will be interested to see. Live video coverage at 7 pm ET on www.pegasussportsky.com
