January 13, 20215 yr In another example of how to quit and eat your way out of a situation, Harden will be sent to the Nets as part of a four-team deal. Rockets get Oladipo, Exum, Kurucs, and future picks, Pacers get LeVert and future second rounder, and the Cavs get Jarett Allen & Taurean Prince.
January 13, 20215 yr Author The Nets got forced into this move because of the headache Kyrie has (predictably) become. I would hate having to unload LaVert and Allen. Dudes can ball.
January 13, 20215 yr Author Not saying it is right or wrong, but this shows the stark difference between the NBA and NFL. In the NBA, players run the league. It has its downside which showed its ugly head these past few weeks. The reality is, the Rockets have moved mountains to accommodate whatever James Harden wanted the past decade and it got them solid results with a superstar talent letting his body go and him virtually quitting on his team. You can spin that however you want, but it is not good for business. AD pulled a similar stunt, but he at least gave effort when on the court.
January 14, 20215 yr Now hope the Nets don’t make the conference finals. Harden is a crybaby who cannot take the heat come playoff time.

Charles Barkley went on a two day bender at Denny's before the 1984 draft so that the 76ers wouldn't draft him. He ended up gaining 20 pounds. It didn't work.

January 22, 20215 yr Author I get why they did it, but I hate the nets had to part ways with Jarret Allen. Granted, we are just a few games into this experiment, but they made the Cleveland Cavs look like an offensive juggernaut.
