Newport Central Catholic had a bye last week in the first round of the playoffs. This week Ludlow comes to town after a 39-20 victory over Dayton. Newport Central Catholic comes into this matchup on a two game losing streak. The Breds are averaging close to 26 points per game on the season. The defense is allowing close to 16 points per game. Ludlow comes into this match averaging just over 30 points per game and giving up over 34 points per game. Who wins this matchup? Does Newport Central Catholic get back to its winning ways? Does Ludlow shock the State with a win?

NCC will be rusty I think.  Ludlow needs to take advantage of this early in the game.  If they do maybe they can stay within striking distance.  NCC offense has been really bad its last 2 games.
