Head Coach Shawn Thompson announces retirement on post game radio show after 17 seasons as head coach. Amazing coach, mentor, and man. Will be missed. Really turned this Wayne County program around.

Was this expected? He doesn't have a lot of age on him.

I really hate to hear this about Wayne’s Coach. Very good coach! I have a lot of respect for this Wayne program! I am very shocked at the outcome of this game. But it’s playoff time and weird things happen. Congratulations to Knox County on the win. I became a fan of Sloan last year and will be watching him in college. I wish Wayne nothing but the best in there new coaching search.

Anyone shocked by this score had Knox Central underrated. This was a pick em' game. It was BGP #7 versus BGP #9.

    Congrats to Da Panthers!

Congratulations KC! Congratulations to Sloan on an incredible career. I think this game shows that Wayne County was overrated all season.

    Combination of both.
