REDS CLOSER.....CHRIS REITSMA?

As the closer or at all?

As the closer.

Before Reitsma left Cincinnati, I think he closed a few games. If my memory is right I believe he was in the 94-95 mpg range on the gun. We had him signed for $950,000 and we traded him for Bubba Nelson & Jung Bom Kim(Not sure about his name) Most people were not happy with the trade. What if we could sign him for $1,000,000, in that vicinity? Maybe a minor league contract?

How about NO contract!

As the closer.

I'd take him in the pen. Unfortunately all pitchers are being overpaid which doesn't bode well for small market teams...

Eric Gagne comes to mind. I still don't want Chris Reitsma though.

He threw what.......98 percent fastballs when he was unhittable.
