Owsley at Lee 12/15 Predictions

Featured Replies

In what many one call the best rivalry this side of Hazard/PCC in region, who wins this game in Beattyville Firday night? The Owls seem to be playing much better than last year and are looking to avenge the 4-0 sweep in matchups with Lee last year. Lee is coming off a tough loss to Powell Tuesday and will more than likely come out firing. No matter what the circumstances these two schools seperated by only around 14 miles of State Highway 11, will always put on a show. With that said, who wins Friday?

It will be difficult in Beattyville for the Owls to win. But if they can protect the ball a little better and take advantage of opportunities, they could pull an upset. They are looking better every game, as an OT loss in Irvine proves.

However, one would have to give the edge to Lee, particularly on their home court.

It seems as if Lee is almost unbeatable at home here lately....

I think Lee will want to avenge their loss to Powell in this one. I think Lee will win big in this one.

They can't shoot any worse than they did against Powell, I see them coming back strong here at home and taking a double digit win over the Owls. :)

I would be shocked to see the Owls pull off the upset here - but quite interested too. If Lee opens district 1-2 going into Owlsey (a gymnasium that historically hasnt been too kind to the traveling Bobcats) - it could be a big shake up in the way things shake out in the 56th. Lee has already scored a win over Estill in Beatyville; and the loss in Stanton was Lee's first blemish in the 56th in 11 games.

All the statistics and hypotheticals aside, Lee stands a very good chance of dominating the Owls....but I am going to go out on a limb and say the Owls stay close throughout the night - with Lee winning by around 7 or 8.

Got to take Lee in this one, especially it being played at Lee.

This a rivalry game so who knows. The Owls will need to protect the ball better if they are going to win this game. If Owsley can force Lee into another poor shooting night then who knows.

The game being played at Lee will help the bobcats. But if Lee shoots the ball like they did agianst Powell watch out.

Have to take Lee on this one. Lee by 16
