In close games like this, teams that can control the tempo, turnovers, and time of possession should win. I think SK won the tempo battle. That hurry up offense was what kept SK in the game in the first half, and what got them back to a tie in the second half. Time of possession went to Dixie who seemed to run the ball just enough when they needed too. Turnover battle goes to Dixie as they sealed the deal with two key interceptions late. Really hope all the injuries for these teams are minor and nothing serious. Looked scary from the stands to see the trainers motion for the ambulance.

Dixie is all about winning at the line of scrimmage. They have very strong line play. QB Landers is very solid running and passing. That is the same formula Dixie rode into the 6A title game in 2014. This Dixie team is not on that team's level, but they can make a deep playoff run against the right matchups.
