I was in Brandenburg last week and saw a lot of construction being done around the football field. Can anyone give an update as to what improvements are being made and will they be ready for the start of the season (whenever that may be)? Thanks in advance.

 

Replacing grass with turf.

Replacing 6-lane track with 8-lane track.

Interior fencing gone, meaning more space around sidelines.

New concession stand.

Meade never had turf.

Meade is finally getting turf for first time.

 

It also looks like soccer will be moving on campus, judging by the lines on the football field.

 

I like Meade's old grass soccer complex myself. Has comes a looooooong way from when I played away games there in the late 1990s.
