No official word as of yet from the KHSAA on what this means for the tournament, but my personal assumption is that this will be a "no fans in the stands" situation like the NCAA tournament.

I find this to be a very interesting statement. With Title IX ruling most of the KHSAA decisions, I would be surprised if they limited fans to the boys tournament. The KHSAA allowed fans to attend the girls tournament this weekend at their own risk. I would think they would have the same policy for the boys tournament.

The Girls just started yesterday. They have plenty of time to restrict fans. Julian Tackett’s message changed from 7:30ish to 9:00ish. They are evolving through The Corona like everyone else. Title IX shouldn’t even be a discussion right now IMO.

"This is the plan for the rest of the girls Sweet 16 and the entire boys Sweet 16, but Tackett says there could be even more changes for the boys tournament if circumstances warrant."
