Central was desperate for that three right there. Just their second made basket of the quarter. I'll say it again, they're lucky to be down just three at this point.

Central misses Muleka tonight as well. He left the game yesterday with an ankle injury. He's one of their best slashers and passers. Ashland is doing a tremendous job on the perimeter, so the inside game is the primary option.

Central's defense at this point seems to be almost praying that Ashland just does not hit their open threes. Because they are getting WIDE open looks.

Warren Central's only hope for the most part is that Ashland misses enough threes. They cannot be shooting a good percentage.

Central had their shot to take the lead, couldn't get it to fall. And they finally got burned by yet another deep ball.

Ashland was unusually cold from the arc tonight. They normally knock down a bunch of those 3s. In the end they hit enough to pull them through. I suppose in a defensive struggle like this game the legs get a little fatigued, particularly in the second half.

Warren Central’s Boyd is a PLAYER. Big D-1 future for that kid.
