Any thoughts? Predictions?

Could be a really good game. Both teams are undefeated on the young season, and both should be very confident about their chances. In last year's regular-season game, Bracken lost by 14, then only lost 44-50 in the district tournament.

 

I'll say Mason County 68, Bracken County 58. Result could be different if any of Mason's starters get in foul trouble.

Bracken County is 4-0 to start the season, but have yet to be battle tested. That could prove to be a big difference... Bracken has played well recently against Mason Co and have some confidence. Mason's team is thin and if they can get a few players in foul trouble then the game could be tight... Only time will tell!

Yep. I don't think Bracken has the athletes to match up. And if they get into any foul trouble, that will compound the problem. Early in the season matchup should result in a huge advantage for the more athletic team.

 

Now as the season progresses and teams begin to execute better and better, the athleticism loses it's advantage. That is what hurts Mason. Athletic they could be the very best team in the region. But they do not execute as well as other teams at the end of the season.

 

I could be persuaded to go 70-48, but I think that will be about as close as it will be.

you are right about the athleticism. They are very talented. But game in and game out Chambers and Cline experience foul trouble. If they both get two silly cheap fouls early the Lady Bears could experience some success.

 

Mason County doesnt like to go to bench at all and if you force them to do that then you have a chance.

I can 100% agree with the bolded. Mason has no bench. If Mason experiences foul trouble of which they did not in the game versus Pendleton, they are primed for an upset.

Mason is the most athletic team in the region... .If they had a bench at all LOOK OUT... That would be there only chance to beat Montgomery Co. in my opinion.

If we can get them into foul trouble, I think there's a chance. If not, it'll be 15-20 point game for Mason.
