I've got news for you. NO sports teams hurt for money at this institutions. Have you seen the facilities they construct? They're better than professional teams. So what your saying is that conferences like the Big 10 and Pac 10, who do not have title games, have a tough time supporting their secondary sports teams? C'mon seriously. Pretty sure the Pac 10 does well in gymnastics. And I'm real sure that the Big 10 is very good in hockey. Your talking about the difference between 100 million and 120 million, what's another million at that point?

You are seriously not telling me that girls golf brings in enough revenue to pay for all of their expenses?

 

I have indicated that the money from the 31 bowl games go to these schools. Also you need to realize that I am not only talking about these big conference schools but the Miami of Ohio's of the world that make it to a bowl game.

I'm not talking about the bowls. I'm talking about conference championship games. I think we got our wires crossed. The conf. champ. games are a cash cow, nothing more.

When is the last time you heard of financial hardships causing an SEC school to drop a sport?
