Original Rookie
But isn't that why they play 4 quarters? WVU handled UG for a portion but when your down 28-0 and come back to make it a 38-35 game, wouldn't you say UG handed WVU's stuff to them for a portion of the game as well? EXACTLY. TheDeuce
UGA came out flat... It was a combination of both. :thumb:
hardball
It could have just as easily been more of a case of UG overlooking WV, and by the time they righted the ship, it was too late.

The SEC Champ looked down their nose at the Big East and it bit them in the tail? Sounds about right...

I think they were double-digit dogs in that game, so pretty much everybody looked down their noses at them, not just UG.

Everyone doesn't play the game. Georgia did. And lost...
hardball
Everyone doesn't play the game. Georgia did. And lost... I know...I watched it. Why does every Big East supporter want to hang their hats on this one particular game? It has been, and continues to be, the calling card that says "The Big East is better than the SEC..." It has been, and continues to be, the calling card that says "The Big East is better than the SEC..." Nobody tries to make it the calling card that the BEast is better than the SEC. It is more a measuring stick to say that the SEC is not as far ahead of the BEast as many would like to think.
