I think that Newcath's non-district schedule could help them tremendously. Aside from district opponents Lloyd, Newport, and Holy Cross, Newcath will play Covcath, Ryle, Campbell County, Conner, Simon Kenton, Beechwood, and Bellevue. Some big schools, and of course Beechwood, will be big challenges for the Thoroughbreds, and I think it will definately help them in the long run for later on in the season.

It must be very nice to be able to play all "away" games in your relative "backyard" and still have really good competition.

It cuts on $$ required, while being easier on the team (though someone from NKY each year seems to complain about the "long" away games in the playoffs...LOL).
