Cardinals 26 Bengals 23

Featured Replies

Down 2 touchdowns with a little over 6 minutes to go, Andy Dalton leads the Bengals to 2 touchdowns and ties the game with 2 minutes to go.

I was at the game and it was indeed an exciting finish, and the only excitement the entire game. Yes indeed he can have at times bright moments, but the whole body of work for most of the game just sucked badly. Early in the 4th when down he throws a short pass on a 3rd and 15. Why? What the heck is that gonna get them but an obvious punt on 4th down. A real QB is confident to go for it and get it done. Over 80 percent of the time I see none of this from Andy. So many times yesterday I kept wondering who the heck he was throwing to.

Since this is still a "game thread", I'm going to talk about the Cardinals. I was at the game too. The Bengals should have never been able to come back and tie that game. The Cardinals made terrible clock management decisions late while they still had the lead. They felt the need to PASS the ball instead of taking time off the clock. It almost bit them. I was shocked to see so much time left on the clock when the Bengals started their second TD drive.

Agree. You watched TWO really bad teams at handling game situations and consistently making plays, really, really bad!!

Yep. The TV crew kept banging on the “16 second drive”.
