September 29, 20196 yr This Alabama team, as of right now doesn't have a defense capable of stopping or slowing down Ohio State, LSU or Oklahoma and maybe not Clemson. Their only chance against those teams is a pure shootout game. Alabama hasn't played anyone but games with Auburn and LSU could lead us to having a new sheriff in the SEC west this year. Clemson seems to be in a funk, they can probably beat anyone by 3 touchdowns or lay and egg like they did last week. They won't be challenged again and will stroll into the playoffs. Ohio State has looked unbeatable on both sides of the ball, but they have yet to be challenged by a good team. They should sweep through the B1G on the way to the playoffs. Only Wisconsin or Penn State have any shot and I believe both of those games are at home. They will boat race Michigan. LSU, offensively WOW! Back to back games against Auburn and Alabama will determine if they are for real or not. I think they are and wouldn't be shocked to see them win either or both games. Georgia, reminds me of Bama teams of the past. Play offense close to the vest and let defense win you the game. UGA has the best win of a top 10 school so far. They travel to arch enemy Auburn in November, that game could derail their playoff hopes. They will roll through the east, maybe Missou gives them a scare...then will play the west survivor. Oklahoma looks just like the last three years, Heisman QB play and enough D to get by. It sounds crazy but Hurts may be the best OU quarterback of the last three. He is mature, does not get rattled and has already played in more big games the his coach has coached. Beat Texas and I think they get in the playoffs. Auburn, where did they come from? Not sure what happened against Tulane but other than that sleeper, wins over the Ducks and Aggies look good on their resume. With LSU, Bama and UGA left, they have a tall hill to climb just to get to the SEC title game. If they go undefeated this year it will be by far the most impressive resume in college football. I would be surprised if anyone outside of that group made the playoffs.
September 30, 20196 yr Who in my top five beat them? Notre Dame is overrated. If LSU is at #1 for having the only legit win, then it stands to reason that Georgia's win over ND should have them in your top 5, maybe your top 2.
September 30, 20196 yr Not since Tony Rice. 12-1 last year 10-3 the year before and probably won't lose at most 1 more game this season...yeah they have been legit. No great, but very solid last 2 years and this season.
October 2, 20196 yr Clemson will play their QB, Ronnie “Sunshine” Bass both ways in the playoffs and win the championship.
