I have three different reports it is Beechwood 13 and Corbin 0 start of the 2nd Q.

13 to 3 Beechwood

16 to 3 Beechwood right before the half.

BW jumped on Corbin quickly by scoring on their first 2 possessions. The first on a long catch and run by Williams. The 2nd on a nice run by Stammer (I think).

 

BW defense played a solid first half. They’re holding Corbin’s run game in check.

How many times has Longmire touched the ball? He seems to be not being used as much from Corbins stats on the Khsaa website.

Corbin does not have the size/athleticism combination up front that made Somerset so formidable. Good size, but not the same combo as above. Beechwood has been able to hold its own so far up front. Very impressive. And throwing the ball well.

That was my opinion on just checking stats. I think they went away from him after the Boyle game last season.
