Cards back in the win column for the first time in nearly a calendar year. Rushed for over 300 yards and had over 500 yards total offense. I’m glad they were able to get the shutout, even if it is just EKU. First shutout for the Cards since 2013.

Happy that they won convincingly. I think that this will definitely be a better season than last season.

This was an impressive win by U of L. Not because of the score, but because they went to work, on a short week, and executed the game plan. The effort is top notch. Of course there are still a multitude of issues that need to be addressed. I feel confident that the coaching staff has that under control. It's a marathon, not a sprint. I like what I'm seeing, and am extremely optimistic about the future. Not only long term, but now, in this season.
