Manual 22 Fern Creek 18

Down to the wire.

The Pick 10 Game of the Week did not disappoint. Every person in the contest picked Manual to win.

I knew this would be a great one. Whoever was there in person saw a great show tonight.

Tank, it was a Great HS game. Back and forth and Manual never gave up and pulled a couple passes out of the hat to stun the Tigers on their field late in the 4th Q.

I predicted in the thread that this would be close. I didn't have a horse in the race. But kudos to the Crimsons. As far as FC goes, welcome to 6A. I hope to see them make a little noise.

Any word on why the teams did not shake hands after the game?

CWB,

I'm still not certain, but have learned that there are alot of guys on both teams that played peewee through middle school ball together. Then when they went to HS many applied to Manual. Some got in and some didn't. That with how the game turned at the very end may have caused emotions to get out of hands and led to not shaking hands. I wish that hadn't happened. It was a terrific high school game. Both teams played hard and well.
