The back to back defending state champions of 4A open up their latest title defense with neighboring Greenwood. Franklin has faced off with the Gators for the last ten seasons, and have won three straight and five of six from Greenwood. The last two were particularly lopsided affairs, with the Wildcats winning by a combined 113-13 score. Greenwood is looking to rebound from a 2-9 campaign a season ago. Can Greenwood get back in the game or will Franklin-Simpson run away with this again?

Going to be a hard year for the Gators with 5 to 6 automatic losses on their schedule.

I thought this might be closer, but then FS demolished apollo in their scrimmage this past friday. Apollo is probably on Greenwoods level up in 5A. Franklin should roll again 49-14

I look forward to seeing one of the premier kickers in the country in Greenwood’s Ben Patterson. He is rated one of the top five prospects in the nation. From what I have seen if GW crosses the 40 he is in range.
