sumoroyal
Nothing for Reds, still 6-5 going to the 5th inning.
sumoroyal
Reds just can not get the Cubs 2,3,4,5 hitters out at all.
sumoroyal
I give up on the Reds. Had Lucoy down 0-2 and the dugout tells Farmer to sit up down and in. Gausman misses of course and a double down the line. Pitch away with two strikes. Stuff like this is why Reds can't win when they need to. Just makes no sense to a player who was released last week. Of course, we have a pitcher that was released last week also.
sumoroyal
Senzel is struggling tonight. Going to the 6th down two.
sumoroyal
Aquino has struck out on two straight curve balls in the dirt. He can not be overly anxious at the plate. Cubs up 7-5 going to 7th.
Oldercoach
Aquino just struck out on a six pitch at bat with no balls within a foot of the plate. Worst at bat I have seen in recent memory. The book on him will begin to note his vulnerabilities. Testerone overpowers his brain!

sumoroyal
Peraza just tried to bare hand a roller and whiffed allowing two more to score. In a game the Reds really needed, they give up 11 runs. That is called losers.
sumoroyal
The difference between the Reds and Cubs are their two through five hitters swings the bats and ours watch pitches sail by and strike out. I pretty sure Votto, Suarez and Aquino have struck out twice each.

sumoroyal
Reds needed to come up big tonight and they come up dead. Exactly what they have done all year.
8th Region Warrior
Let me be he first to say I love the direction this team is headed in. I did question Aquino playing everyday over guys that has proven to be quality hitters in Vanmeter and Ervin. Both of them where absolutely on fire and both went to the bench. Granted Aquino has played well. We run Votto out there every night and he’s almsot got the worst average on the team now. Big decisions to be made in the off season. We didnt pitch well tonight. It happens it’s what makes baseball frustrating sometimes. Lets bounce back tomorrow with a win.
