August 4, 20197 yr I didn't get a chance to watch any last night since I was working the FC Cincinnati game. I was glad to see the Aquino came around a little. After reading through this, I'm annoyed that they double switched for him too. Analytics are great for baseball, but if you are just an analytics guy, you're in trouble, in my opinion. Hopefully the Reds get a W today. Can't be too upset with a 2-2 split in Atlanta.

August 4, 20197 yr Author Myself and others have pointed out since April how bad this team is fundamentally, baseball IQ, base running, coaching and how bad Votto has been. We have gotten nothing but criticism and very little credit. Now that is is August, and we watched another terrible game last night, maybe it is time for more credit. My opinions just are not guesses, they come with knowledge and experience. Right, 16BBall Fan?
August 4, 20197 yr This umpiring crew, by major league standards, is horrible!! For that part, major league is pretty bad, too many good ones retiring and not enough good ones coming up!! Watched some of the Yankees-Red Sox yesterday and the home plate guy was just pitiful, Sale let him know about it too!! Holbrook grew up about 30 miles from me and he is one of the worst ones going!
