August 5, 20197 yr My only problem with current OT rules are that OT's are too long. I wish OT's were no longer than 2 minutes instead of 5. I would be OK with 1 minute OT's. I just don't see the reason for 5 minute OT's. How about 2 minute OTs, 15 second shot clock, and one time out per team. That would create some intense and exciting moments. But, wait....impractical because we wouldn't have time for 10 commercials! I am a dumby.

Of course, they would still have, I suppose, time for 5 or 6 emotion-sapping video reviews.
August 6, 20197 yr The NBA does a good job limiting the commercial breaks and/or timeouts. Timeouts in the NBA are more about strategy with the ball advancement rules. College, on the other hand, is way over-coached and every possession under the 90 second mark requires coaches attempting to show how (un)brilliant they are by calling timeouts, whether needed or not.
August 6, 20197 yr I watched the entire TBT held two weeks ago at Frederick Douglass. I really enjoyed it the games are played just like the other 3 and a half quarters and what I’ve noticed is the team with most talent usually wins. To me it’s kind of like when the shot clock came into college basketball it allows the more talented teams to prevail more often than not. I could really see it helping college ball more than the NBA. imo
