HUGE WIN FOR NORTHERN KENTUCKY!

The former Frisch's Big Boy on Kyles Lane in Fort Wright is getting new life!

The owners of Carmelo's in Covington, Mitch Arens and Billy Grise, are opening a brand-new American chophouse in the building - featuring steaks, chops, comfort food and a family-friendly atmosphere.

Even cooler... the new restaurant plans to pay tribute to the history of the old "Gourmet Strip' along Dixie Highway, bringing a little NKY nostalgia into the new concept.

The restaurant is expected to have around 160 seats plus an outdoor patio, with plans to open this winter.

It will probably be another over priced steak house. Nobody can compete with Blinkers.
