November 26, 200619 yr I don't think Florida is the best team in the conference and Urban Meyer is just whining in support of his team. But their wins stack up pretty well versus Michigan's.
November 26, 200619 yr  Your anti-SEC bias is really showing through. You give your coach a pass for lying to a kid and pulling his scholarship, but you want to drill a coach like Meyer who thinks his team deserves to be in the title game over Michigan, who already has had their shot at Ohio St, which is debatable.       Totally unrelated. By bringing this up AGAIN, I guess in defense of a kid whose life has been ruined becuse he's been forced to go to UK instead of Louisville, it's YOUR bias that's showing through. This is called thread jacking, there are plenty of places to talk about the Louisville coaches 'lying' to Durham. As to your shadow of a point, I don't see a dissonance. Petrino certainly hasn't whined about the shellacking he took in the media over the Durham incident. But Meyer sure is whining about his team's chances for the title game.

November 26, 200619 yr LOL The SEC lacks a dominant team ala Ohio State and USC. I still think top to bottom it doesn't get any better. LSU is the best team. Had a rough road schedule...@ UF, @ AU, @ UT, @ Ark. They got 2 of the four, should have had 3, and beat themselves versus Florida.

I dont understand how Petrino gets a pass for what he did from some of the UL fans, but Meyer says he thinks his team deserves to be in over Michigan and people are just drilling him for saying that. The best thing to do for Meyer is just be quiet, but I dont see it as being that bad.

November 26, 200619 yr Florida just keeps finding a way to win and they don't always look efficient, accurate or flashy, but they just win.
November 26, 200619 yr Not the Gator loss I wanted to see, but once again they proved they are not an elite team this year. I commend them for still winning enough to get in the picture, but they in no way shape or form belong in the title game over UM or USC... I agree. There seems to be a "Leake" in the Gator offensive scheme!!!
November 26, 200619 yr Leak was not the problem. Tebow was 0-1 passing and had 3 yards on 4 carries. Leak was 21-34 for 283, 2 TD and no INT. It was the running game that was the offensive problem (3.3 YPC.)
