Not by much, he runs about a 4.4, I think at nfldraftscout.com he is listed at 4.37.

Oh ok, I thought you were referring to Reggie Bush now. I wasnt aware we were talking about high school Reggie Bush. I dont think theres any way we could really tell Reggie Bush's high school speed because high school numbers are so skewed.

And good evidence at that. :thumb: Danville did not begin playing in 1A until 1999 when they were FORCED to drop down from 2A due to KHSAA rules changes. Danville won 5 state championships (in 6 appearances) as a 1A school playing in 2A. Mayfield is another great example of a 1A school that excelled playing in 2A. And if Beechwood had played 2A (being a 1a school) during those years, I'm sure they would have won championships in 2A as well.

Yeah, but when Danville opted to play in 2A, they were playing 2A-sized schools. Mercer County wouldn't fit that criteria this season. I'm not insinuating that Danville would make a huge stink of it, especially given the relationship of their coaches, but I suspect the Admirals wouldn't be real happy about it.

There is a big difference between playing bigger schools during the regular season and being forced to play a team that has an enrollment outside of the parameters of the class to advance in the postseason.

 

I don't doubt for a minute that Danville would play Mercer during the regular season. It's another thing to be OK with a school of Mercer's size playing in Danville's Class A district, which is the point another poster was making.

That is true, however, there have been many years that the best A school has been better than the best AA school. This doesn't happen between AA and AAA, or AAA and AAAA very often at all.

Boyle Co. did it for awhile, they moved up to 3A and won 3 straight if my memory serves me right.

D is extremely athletic and hard hitting, and very intellegent.

 

LB is Chris Lewis 6' 3" 215 - hits like a ton of bricks, 130 tackles. Some of you may remember him from last year. He's bigger, stronger, faster.

 

Rashad Buster has 106 tackles and Nick Reed has 100.

 

Blake Arnold and Darryl Smith have 6 pics each and Freeman Edwards has 5 team has a total of 27. I think Edwards would rather hit you than get a pick though, he is a head hunter at strong safety.

 

Total of 44 sacks. Masterson and Blackburn have 8 sacks each, Buster and Harris have 6 each. We don't blitz much or do much of anthing fancy.
