East Bank in regards to your comments on Clark Stepp at JBS that no NAIA school would want him. Wow ! that is bold, IMO you may have to eat some crow on this one in a couple of years. They may direct things to pad his stats but it does not take away the fact that he is a solid player. Very capable of playing NAIA or maybe D-1 in 2 years

 

 

 

Thats true maybe they do pad Stepp's stats (he's been starting varsity since 8th grade) but he is a great player and he may not be D-1 yet but remember he's just a junior, although Cox is also a great player in 4 years he will probably be D-1 also.

He is a solid HS player, I didn't say that, but if he happens to play anywhere but Alice Lloyd in College I guess I'll be eating crow. He's not going to impress any resectable college coaches who's been around talented players and want to win, I just don't see it. I've never seen a player hyped like this with his ability. College players would eat him alive right now.I could be wrong though, but thats my opinion.

Walls from Scott Co. I believe has a couple of D1 offers. I believe UMass is one of them but I hear he doesnt want to go that far away. I believe he may have the opportunity to walk on at UK.

What about Duane Feilds at Madison Central. Madison Central went to the final 8 last season and probably be there again and maybe into the final 4 at least. Fields hit the game winning shot last season over Scott Co. I believe to put them into the sweet 16.

How about Dakota Euton a 6 ft. 7 in. Freshmen from Rosehill plays guard,can score from anywhere.

 

This thread is about JRs and SRs but anyhow I watched this kid play against Southwestern and i think he had a triple double! He could score and did score from anywhere on the court. He grabbed almost every rebound and blocked a signifigant amount of shots as well, very nice player!

Euton is one of the top rated Freshman in the Country.

If Central can make it out of the 11th region this year then they have accomplished a lot. It is by far the best region in the state. It took a lot of talent, and a little luck to make it out last year.

 

Fields is a senior, while Morris is only a junior. Morris is almost a lock to go D1 somewhere. I'll post if I hear any news on either one.

Here's another one for you. Jonathan Gholson, a 6'4 Wing who transfered from Moore to Ballard this season and could very well be the most underrated player in the state, another one of those great athletes to come out of Louisville, I'll have a chance to see ballard play Saturday...What do you guys think??
