Hearing that Roger Newton is out at Augusta and IN as Williamstown AD.

Not able to confirm here in A-town. No one seems to know whether this is true, or not. Believe most here in Augusta would hope the post is not accurate.

Oh but quite the opposite! Those that know and have to deal with him have a bad taste and would like to see him move on.

Wow! Didn't realize the "A-town underground" could be so counter to what the general consensus is on the Panthers' coach. Hope you are wrong on this one.

Evan Dennison just posted a statement from Newton saying that the rumors are just rumors. Per Williamstown, he has applied but that is the only information given.

Hope this isn’t true. Coach Newton had the boys improving all season and got the most out of what he had to work with. If he does leave what direction does Augusta go with the next hire?

Told you he was out, even after alerting Evan Dennison that it was a rumor. Snake in the grass, why can’t coaches be open and honest.

Who’s on the list for next coach of the Panthers? Who do they call?

???????!?????? Specifics. Ears haven't heard anything!

Coach Newton accepted a full-time Athletic Director position at Williamstown.

Yep. The job was posted to the KHSAA yesterday.

Will they hire from within the program or will they look elsewhere?

Will look outside the program. Look for an announcement within a week possibly 2.

I’m asking Adam Reed if he’s interested, despite my aversion to hiring parents of players. He’s had a hand in the development of a lot of the players at Augusta.

I would expect another opening in the 10th region once this position is filled.
