Blue 64 White 10 (Kentucky Spring Game)

Featured Replies

I try not to get too excited of the spring game, but Wilson looked good as did running backs Rose and the freshman Smoke. Hoak looked good, too.

If Wilson, Bowden, and Epps are like what they showed last night, this team could be fun to watch.

The D looked pretty good. The starters gave up 10 points. The second string D is who gave up all the points.

Wasn’t it 21-0 at the end of the 1st Q? Did the first team D dress/play?

The blue squad on both sides of the ball were the first team. The white squad were the 2’s & 3’s. So the first team offense scored 21 in the first quarter and the first team D gave up 0.

I was really disappointed after coming off last season that the crowd was so small.

Probably because of threat of rain and very windy.

I don't put much, of any value into spring games … anyone's Spring games. Having said that, imo the offense looked good, with some playmakers. Defensively …. well, that may have been the reason that the offense looked good. Can't tackle, can't cover pass routes, D-line was consistently getting blown off the ball. So, I'm glad that I don't put much into a Spring game …..
